The list

Product 5 does not do everything itself. A handful of outside services handle parts of the job, and some of them necessarily see your data to do it. Here is all of them.

ServiceWhat it handlesRequired
Database hostEverything in your workspace — every contact, deal, task, note and audit record lives here.Yes
ResendSending email: address verification, password resets, invitations, notifications and any mail you send from the product.Yes
Cloudflare R2Files you attach to records. Downloads are short-lived signed links, never public URLs.No — file attachments are disabled without it
Your AI providerThe assistant. Your question, and the workspace records it needs to answer, go to whichever provider your workspace has configured. No — the assistant runs in demo mode without it
Google CalendarMeetings, for each person who connects their own Google account. Nobody is connected by default. No
DiscordMessages your automations are set up to post to a channel you chose. No

A note about the assistant

The assistant is the one place where your records deliberately leave our systems. To answer a question about a deal, it has to send that deal to a model. Your workspace picks which provider that is, and the key it uses is encrypted before we store it.

If that is not a trade you want to make, do not configure a provider. The assistant then runs on canned answers and no record ever leaves.
